Solar Product Description   Solar Water Heater Rheem Solaraide 80 gallon, RS80-42BP The Rheem Solaraide RS80-42BP is a passive solar water heating system requiring no pumps or controllers. The closed loop, indirect heat exchange system has 80 gallon storage capacity. Complete system includes solar water tank, solar collectors, installation kit and heat transfer fluid. The solar water tank has a single wall external heat exchanger completely surrounding the storage tank. Rugged steel tank with vitreous enamel tank lining and immersion, copper sheath backup element. The solar collectors are black polyester powdercoat with paint absorber coating. Each solar collector has 35 multi-flow risers for faster heat transfer and flat plate design. Propylene Glycol heat transfer fluid and antifreeze protection Rheem Passive Solar Systems have been awarded the MVP Award for Innovation and Efficiency from the Builders Group. The system measures 98 inches x 91 inches, requiring 62 square feet of space, and weighs 1,080 lbs when full. Certified by Solar Rating & Certification Corporation (SRCC).
