Solar PV

Photovoltaic PV is a method of generating electrical power by converting solar radiation into direct current electricity using semiconductors photovoltaic. Solar PV systems are also known as solar arrays. Solar PV systems can be off grid (battery powered) or grid tied. Battery powered solar PV systems have a battery that stores energy for later use. This means your commercial or home solar panels will provide a steady supply of power during the night or on cloudy days. Instead of a battery, grid tied solar PV systems are tied to the existing power grid. When your home solar panels generate excess power, the utility buys it. The utility will then credit you the difference on your electric bills. Solar PV systems tied to the grid often cause the power companies to send you a check instead of a bill!
