- Apple: Requires optional reconfigured MagSafe adapter or Apples' Airline adapter connected to our optional car charger socket.. Newer, more efficient MacBooks (unibody) are more efficient than older MacBooks. Dell: Voltaic's external battery will not re-charge the battery on the Dell, but it will run the laptop. This means you should not run your Dell battery completely flat when planning to use an external battery. Samsung: Some current Samsung sub-notebooks have a small barrel shaped plug (3.0x1.0mm) which is not offered as part of our standard set, please see optional laptop adapters. Others including Acer, ASUS, HP, Lenovo, Toshiba and VAIO: Using the included adapter set, we've been able to connect to and charge every modern laptop we've tested. Not all HP laptops are supported; we have tested and confirmed support of the N455, Mini1000, DM4, DV6, DV7, and G7. Asus: Eee PC Netbooks (19V setting, requires optional 2307 adapter)

- Tablets - In most cases, the Voltaic Amp will charge tablets better than 4 Watt chargers which do not have enough power to charge tablets efficiently. The following tablets will charge slowly from the internal battery in this charger. - Digital Cameras: In addition, you can adjust the Voltage output of the solar panels from 6V to 12V. The 12V setting is suitable for charging larger 7.4V digital camera batteries. You will need an optional camera battery cradle that supports the specific battery in your camera.
