Mississippi Solar Rebates The Magnolia State isn’t the greatest when it comes to solar panel rebates and solar incentives. They are slow to offer incentives for residents to switch to clean solar energy. Although, Mississippi solar rebates are currently lacking, that doesn’t mean things won’t change in the near future. Mississippi residents are eligible for a 30 percent Federal Investment Tax Credit courtesy of Uncle Sam. Another Mississippi solar incentive is offered to customers of the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) granting a $500 rebate for home solar panels plus $0.15/KWh produced for ten years. Since the popularity of home solar panels are growing, it’s likely more Mississippi solar rebates will be available in the future to make solar installation more affordable.
